4shared.com Got Hacked by ABCJardins

9-13-2009 10-42-50 AMDamn, 4shared.com got hacked! I think it got hacked on September 12th yesterday and the last time I checked which is today, that site is still hacked. Still waiting the site to be recovered so I think it will be quite a while you can’t browse on my rainmeter skins. The Wallpaper pack is still working though since I uploaded in the wordpress account.

Hfff, I always hate hackers you know? They’re just a nuisance for me and nothing good comes from them. Anyway, I uploaded a backup file for emergency download here. It is packed to one rar file so be patient downloading it ok?

Update:

Regarding to the comments that have been in to this post, it seems that you can access 4shared account using an alternate site called http://www.4shared-china.com. I’ve tried it and it works. An additional note, it seems that the link that have been uploaded doesn’t change, so if you want to download my Rainmeter skins, append the link from http://www.4shared.com to http://www.4shared-china.com. The rest of the trailing link is just the same. Happy downloading, guys. Let’s hope it gets fixed soon.

  7. Yeah … checked the site yesterday. was working fine in the evening
    The problem seems to have occurred in the morning today.

    There was so much stuff on my account
    And it was relatively the best and easiest way of sharing stuff :(

  10. Guys you should be changing passwords now if you have an account with thesame username and password in your 4shared account. If the hacker have access to the database then you are toast

    Dang I can’t any original mp3 other than 4shared…
    It’s like, the best place!

  14. Try to ping 4shared.com in cmd, Type the command:
    ping 4shared.com -t
    There’s reply and the alternate way is to type the IP Address but when i type it says that it’s temporarily unavailabe.
