AIMP3 is a free media player similar to the now defunct Winamp. It is one of the good alternative selections to play your music with. Thank you very much to msdzero as the pioneer of this AIMP3 skin crafting so we can finally make it happened. To use the AIMP3 skin we have posted on this website, it is required for you to install AIMP3 media player. You can download the free software by clicking this link: http://www.aimp.ru/
After you have downloaded the AIMP3 media player, just double click on the skin file (.acs3 file extension) you have downloaded and you will be automatically brought up to a menu showing the skin you have selected. Make sure it highlights to the skin you intend to use and click the apply button. Voila! Your new skin is ready to be used and enjoy the beauty of your new AIMP3 skin!
License Issue
AIMP3 is a freeware so you can distribute it freely or use it to your own benefit . The AIMP3 skin that we created are open source. You can distribute it, sell it, or modify it if you want to but it will be nice if you credit me if you use my theme or modify it (Relax, I won’t get mad if you don’t credit me. It’s just a common courtesy and we are decent humans who respect each other, right?).
Requesting For a AIMP3 Skin
I also accept request for an AIMP3 Skin, but it will be subjective to my own taste (Hehe, sorry about this). The skin will also be subjective to my preferences. You can help me by sending me a minimal of two pictures of the characters you wanted to be made a Winamp skin of but the resolution must be greater than 1000×1000 pixels. The picture must be clear and not a product of a scan. Please, provide the character in the picture to be clear enough to be masked by me since making the theme requires strict mix and match. I shall create the theme you requested under my own time (no deadlines) since I also have to work and usually very busy. Therefore, please be patient on anticipating it, okay? Oh yeah, you can pester me by sending me a remainder if your request is not granted for more than a week (That’s mean I’ve forgotten, Sorry^^;).

What is your AIMP3 version by the way? Also, you might also want to uninstall your AIMP3 and get the newest skin version on the official site just in case.

Iv’e always used VLC before but customising all my applications really appeals to me so it’s awesome to see such awesome skins for AIMP3!
Will you be making all skins for this now or WinAmp as-well? I downloaded WA just now but it seems much less user friendly.
Well, currently we only have 1 design style for AIMP3 so the variations aren’t that much. If you want more skin variations, Winamp is the way to go in this blog. But to answer your question, yes we design both of them.

Sorry to disturb, but I’ve tried many times and I can’t install the theme. It says Can’t load skin “Akizuki.acs3”: Invalid skin format.
